On nitro At Holman’s Table in St. Paul. Jet black pour. Creamy tan head is finger-high. Rich roasted malt aroma is redolent of dark chocolate and coffee. Flavor is more of the same. Dark chocolate, dark coffee and charred wood. Soft, creamy mouthfeel. Smooth and satisfying from start to finish. Finishes roasty and dry. Delicious!

Pours a lightly hazy, pale lemon-ice tea color, with minimal head. Aroma is cardamom and almond. Flavors follow. Fairly clean, crisp mouthfeel. You've really gotta want some Christmas flavors to seek this one out (sorry).

Sampled from the tap at ABR 2025. Pours a slightly hazy peach yellow with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has an earthy peach, dank citrus and a touch of mango underlying. Flavor has an earthy citrus, a touch of mango and some light sweet grain backing.

Romans are clean dark malt, roast, coffee and a slight hint of vanilla. Flavors are similar to nose and on the sweet side. Toast comes out more and coffee is very well balanced. Slightly thin body. Pretty good overall.

Really good! Very well balanced and super easy drinking. Aromas are dark malt, toast and slightest hint of molasses. Flavors are better than nose, toast comes out a bit more, with a little cocoa and coffee. Great balance between sweet, bitter and soft carbonation. Very drinkable. Excellent beer.
