32oz crowler shared by Rob, big thanks. Canned 06/02. purplish cloudy color, small pink head. smells strong of peanuts, nutty, earthy, marzipan. nice smell, rather intense and a bit onsided. medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes nutty, peanuts, earthy, bit grassy, marzipan, berry notes, jammy, citric. finishes lightly dry with notes of peanuts, citrus and some jammy notes. Weird, different, interesting. Was nice to try this, rather intense though.

Battle of the Brews in Santa Rosa. Very slightly hazed orange-auburn with moderate, retained white head. The orange was noticeable but restrained for the description. Overall a very nice beer, but I was expecting more orange. Alcohol was well hidden.

On tap at the brewery. It pours a dark brown color with a khaki head. The aroma has vanilla, treacle, pine and roasted malt. The flavor is pretty watery and bland. There’s some mild roast, but not really all that much vanilla. Was hoping for more here.

On tap at the brewery. It pours a hazy deep yellow color with a white head. The aroma has grapefruit, orange and maybe a hint of mango. Good strong fruitiness. The flavor has more grapefruit, but the finish heads more into citrus peel and piney territory with strong bitterness. Soft mouth feel with a little herbal quality. Started out nice, but kinda fell apart at the end.

On tap at the brewery. It pours a lightly hazed pale golden color with a white head. The aroma has honey, bread, orange some toffee and stone fruit. The flavor is a bit fresher and hoppier with orange, some flowers, a little stone fruit and smooth honey and bread character. Ok.
