Bottle I bought at the brewery, shared with DutchDrebus. Very dark brown color, almost opaque. Smell spices or herbs, think ginger. Also in the taste. Too much carbonation and watery taste, thin texture at the same time. Just not good.

Shared bottle I bought at the brewery with DutchDrebus. Little bit wine smell. Taste a little better and the best about this beer are body and carbonation, though like Bierkoning said: it’s not a prizewinner.

Shared a bottle with benzai. Again this beer from Kasparus had some ginger notes in it. As stated before i don’t like beer that tastes or smells like ginger. This one was a bit less extreme then some others. Did like the colour very much though.

This beer, like some other beers from Kasparus, smelled a lot like Chinese food. Noticable in taste also. Colour was very nice. The mouthfeel was a bit too agressive for me, too much large co2 bubbles. Kinda hurts my chest when swallowing.

I poured this beer looked at the colour, and while i was judging the colour i smelled something weird. Took a good sniff and i smelled Chinese food. That’s the best way i can describe it. Probably ginger-like. Also noticable in the taste. I like Chinese food, i like beer, but i don’t like Chinese food in my beer.

Shared a bottle with benzai. Colour was as it should be for a tripel. Lacked a bit in taste. Mouthfeel was pretty decent.

User Benzai shared a bottle with me. Quite a nice beer from Kasparus, glad this one does not have the ginger/Chinese food smell like most others. Mouthfeel was crazy. Lots of large CO2 bubbles. A real burper.

I haven’t had a lot of apple beers yet (i think about 4 or 5 total), but this one was absolutely the best in it’s style yet. The colour isn’t what i like, but i guess it’s okay for an apple beer. Smell and taste were both pretty good. It’s not really a syruppy fruitbeer, it just tastes really natural and the apple aromas are helping this beer, not dominating it. Score is kinda low, but for an apple beer it’s actually quite a nice score.
