Bottle shared with DutchDrebus. Hazy yellow colored beer. Was a bit hesitant to try this because of the pear, but it was less extreme then I had anticipated. Smell is a little to fruity for me, but the taste is decent as well as the carbonation.

Like most of their beers this one smelled a bit like Chinese food (ginger i guess). Pretty average score.

Not my favorite brewery. Most of their beers have a weird thing in it that reminds me of Chinese food. This one is the least-worst one for me.

Color: red, dark pink almost. Very large thick light pink head. Smell is a little sweet and a little sour at the same time. Very low carbonation. Cassis-like taste.

Again that weird, unfresh smell. According to other raters it’s probably ginger. But anyway this beer is just off. Totally unbalanced, just weird.

Color is dark brown with a red glow coming through. Big beige head when I poured it. Smells roasty, coffee. Taste medium bitterness, light sweetness. Carbonation fizzy, lively, but dropping quickly. Kind of thin or slick oily texture. Medium bitter finish.

Color is gold and clear, as a lot of pilseners. Little bubbles rising up to the thin clear white head. When just poured the head is about 1 finger, but it quickly drops. Smells like standard pilsener, but clearly another scent comes through, which I have smelled in other beers from Kasparus as well, but I can’t put my finger on what it is. It’s not as overwhelming as in some other beers, but definitely there. Taste is ok, lightly bitter, little dry aftertaste. Medium body, ok for a pilsener. Average carbonation which suites this beer well.

Dark orange color, weak head after gushing first. Smells and taste are bad. Beer is not balanced and again I think I smell and taste rosemary, at least too much of a herb or spice.

Contacted the brewer for some information. I’ll try to translate it correct. He said is a high fermented lager (in Dutch: pils) with 5 ABV. It’s not a regular brew, they make it occasionally. ’Goud’ means Gold. Color is indeed gold. In the smell I find herbs, especially rosemary, also very present in the taste. Carbs are ok for a beer of 5% ABV.

Trockener, leicht süßer Malzantrunk. Dezente Fruchtnoten, alkoholische Süße. Schnell wird das Bier milder, zum Ende röstmalzig, die Süße ist nun angenehm. 6/7/8/7/6/7
