Dark color, no head. Mocha and coffee liquor aroma. Sweet and very fruity flavor with mocha, grapes, pear and licorice. Hardly any lacing, the alcohol is prominent, thanks to the bit watery texture. Elemental brewing mistakes have been made. Still a reasonable, but far from perfect beer.

Aroma of malts, also a bit grassy. Flavour is dry with some woody notes. There’s some malt sweetness in the finish.

33 cl bottle @ Gastropub Tuulensuu. Rated on 22.01.2011
Aroma is somewhat sweet with dark, ripe fruits and hints of licorice. Flavour is sweetish and rich on malt with some caramel and licorice. Too sweet stuff for me.

Copper, light brown to red color. Thick vast foamy white head. Smell spices or herbs, I think coriander, little musty, lightly sour. Taste coriander, lightly sour as wel. Carbo and body medium.

Trockener, leicht süßer Malzantrunk. Dezente Fruchtnoten, alkoholische Süße. Schnell wird das Bier milder, zum Ende röstmalzig, die Süße ist nun angenehm. 6/7/8/7/6/7

Bottled@Tuulensuu, Tampere. Slightly hazy ambery brown colour with not too much head. Aroma is raisins, some alcohol as well as mild notes of toffee. Flavour is quite much the same in a quite nice balance. A quite pleasantly balancced thing.

Courtesy of Edo - bierkoning, ty. Dark brown color, small tan head. Strong nice aroma of licorice, toasted malts and prunes. Good malty body. Caramelly with dark fruits like prunes and date, some licorice. This is vintage 2007, over a year old, no alcohol in the taste. Very nice dessert beer.

Bottle, 8.5%. Citric, metallic aroma. Cloudy dark brown colour, sparkling. Small light brown head. The flavour is quite malty with some yeast. Very malty, sugary, brown sugar, burnt sugar. Roasted, sour aftertaste. High carbonation, swelling mouthfeel. Not so complex. The sourness puts me off a bit. The beer improves after breathing for a good while.
