(Bottle 33 cl) Pilsener golden with a white, creamy head. Somewhat sweet, citrusy aromas. Rather light body with a soft, light citrusy sweetness - oranges. But this contains no less than 6 additives (E-numbers)! 280705

(Bottle 33 cl) Clear chestnut brown with a small, beige head. Malty and caramelish nose. Delicate flavours of roasted malts, vinous, sweetish and spicy. Only a weak bitternes. Lovely. Sweet Stout? Closer to an Abbey Dubbel I’d say. 280705

(Bottle 33 cl) Comes as "Kasparus Prestice" Type: Luxe pils. Hazy, fully golden beer with a small, white head. A touch of spices in the nose. Weak notes of malt and ginger (!) with a light bitter finish. If this is a pils, it’s definitely a weird one. 280705

Cloudy brown color, medium off-white head. Malty and spicy aroma. Sweet and caramel malty taste, brown sugar. Quite unbalanced. Very harsh spicy palate. I did not taste the sweet stout...

(PresticE or PresticA? http://www.pint.nl/nedbier/brouwerij.htm lists both, describing PresticE as a 5% amber, the PresticA as a 5% pils. My label reads PresticE very clearly, and as clearly says it is a luxus pils... So, unless the brewery says otherwise, I considered them to be identical) Good white head, fed by lively carbonation; deep-golden colour with greenish shine, some haze. Grainy nose, bit grassy, garden herbs. Quite bitter taste, herbal bitter rather than hoppy, but quite refined. Dry character, virtually no restsweetness. So dry it has virtually no refreshing properties left. Light to medium bodied all the same, powdery texture. Surprising pilsener. At least, it’s original. Hence, good marks

Hazy red color, small pinkish head. Aroma is mostly blackcurrant indeed, some spices. Sweet fruity taste and palate, although the fruitiness is not as abundant as i expected.

(There are serious doubts as to where Kasparus' beers are really brewed)Fully dark brown, yellowish head soon reduced to yellow ring. Very chocolatey nose - or 'fondant', filling as in Belgian pralines, vaguely spicey, ending very fruity (plums, or - in brandy). Quite tobacco-smoke taste, slightly bitter chocolate flavour, and a typical acidity from burnt malts, stout-like. Nothing explosive however. Surprisingly light mouthfeel, ending even virtually empty. It starts with a superb nose and ends completely watery, dead. As if everything has been used to give aroma. 'takes all kinds to make a beerworld.
