Thin white head. Pale hazy yellow body. Sourish fruity aroma. Dry fruity strawberry and malt taste. Very clean. Dry fruity resiny taste. Very nice. (0.2l draft at Sinfonie, Leipzig.)

Frischer, aber sehr wässriger Antrunk mit leichter Hopfenandeutung. Die Andeutung wird stärkern und wandelt sich in ein fast brauchbares Aroma, ein würziger Ton erscheint schwach im Untergrund. Fad, wässrig, wie in Erinnerung: Schlecht. Test vom 9.10.2007, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 8,6,8,7,8,7 - 7,15

400ml von fass, outdoor seating at Salong in Trier. Clear and light coloured body. Low-level foam. Rounded aroma of grass. Initial tangy malt followed by a vague taste of smooth hops. Slightly sweet. Dry ending. Clean tasting and rather well bodied (13.09.2007).

Draught at some small pub in Bonn. Golden beer with a disapearing white head. Malty aroma with some faint hoppiness. Flavor is mostly sweet malt, and the finish is a bit bitter. Light-bodied and watery.

Draught at the brewpub. Golden with a slowly-diminishing white head. Malty aroma with grassy hops and some fruitiness. Initial malty, grainy, flavor. Later hoppy and bitter. Light to medium-bodied. OK but nothing interesting - just another avarage Kolsch.

Yellow with a small but lasting white head. Malty and floral aroma, with notes of peach and apricot. Dry and mostly malty, with limited bitterness. Ends on the right peppery note for a kölsch. I guess they simply make the best kölsch beer in Köln, even with evil multinational ownership!

Bottle from Corks, Bristol. Bright gold with a decent, fluffy white head. Slight aroma of floral hops. Flavour had a touch more hops with a bitter finish. Ok.

Pours the usual pale golden colour with some grassy, hop notes in the aroma. The taste is quite clean and fresh with a some citric hop flavours and a slight bitter edge. Not particularly memorable, but fairly drinkable.

On tap at the city centre Brauhaus. Golden with a lasting white head. Malty, grassy/herbal and light fruity aroma with a hint of white wine. Rather sweet, smooth malty flavour, with vineous fruit, and a well hopped spicy finish.
