De oudere generatie heeft Brouwerij Eylenbosch Huizingen nog gekend.
Mijn familie evolueerde van een seizoensgebonden boerderij-brouwerij uit tot twee geburende ambachten. In de "Teloorgang van de Geuze" is ook deze brouwerij bezweken. Desondanks is het brouwersvuur nog niet gedoofd en rijpen we sinds 1965 terug lambiek op de boerderij.
Mijn ambitie is om het boeren en brouwen weer te versmelten. Zo kan ons streekproduct eindelijk weer gemaakt worden met grondstoffen uit onze streek.

Bottle. Unclear ruby color with pink head. Aroma is super cherry, marzipan, juicy, but also a bit simple. Taste is more towards the dry Lambic, not too complex, but very juicy again. Dry finish. Oily mouthfeel with natural carbonation.

Pours dark pinkred / bordeaux. Fairly unclear (bottle was shaken, to be all honest ) . Small ring of pink head. Scent is full, wet cherry, almond (cherrypits) . Taste is full, intense cherry, swiming pool like aroma ( I always get this in good cherry beers ) . Medium intense sourness; fairly complex. Fuller body, medium carbo. Acidic backbite, lemonsour, lactic, wood. Milder brett, low acetic acid. Very decent !
Edit : drank side by side with the 4 cherry versions released in 2021, as the second one (behind the cherry cider ) . This one is lighter, higher in carbo, less aromatic cherries. Still lovely - not changeing the score - but it's fun to compare .

750 ml bottle, vintage 2020. Amber, hazy body, with a medium, off-white head. Aroma of funk, quince, ripe apple, some smoke, wood, some citrus. Tastes pretty similar. Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation. Finishes fruity, moderate wooden, a bit smokey, slightly funky, with apple, quince, some citrus. Very nice. Unique stuff, with the cider and quince notes much more prominent than the Lambic, with even a slight smokey impression. Really fresh to drink. 8 / 4 / 8 / 4 / 15

Nimi ütleb et kriekencider, aga eeldame et on õige koht. Päris happeline, kirs, magus, marjane, natuke atsetooni ka. Ok.

0,75l bottle at home shared by Saeglopur, big thanks. orange murky color, small white head. smells spices, apples, bit oxidized, peppery, earthy, lightly smoky. nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes smoky, earthy, spices, herbal, leathery, light wood, quince, light tannins. finishes lightly dry and lightly sour with notes of smoke, quince and some spices. I very much like this one, love the smoky / tanniny notes. great balance. lovely overall, looking forward to more stuff from this brewery 7, 4, 9, 4, 17
