Well done for a macro.nose and taste of fine orange peel and coriander

500 ml bottle. Clear brown reddish, big not lasting head. Caramel, roasted malt, nuts. Mild bitterness. Thin bodied, watery texture, light dull bitter malty finish. Easy drinking, but nothing special.

23rd May 2018. 500ml bottle; BB 28th Jul 2018, from a French Auchen superstore. Walked the dog for 90 minutes in the morning sun, my reward is to sit in my garden and rate this at leisure. Poured into an old 'Schulteiss' half-litre straight sided glass. I allowed the sediment to flow out, so I got all the flavours. Misty old gold in colour, deep and lasting white blanket on top. Aroma has some fruity notes with a slight citrus leaning, mild malty nose too. The taste is a lovely blend of semi-sweet malts and mixed fruits to give a crisp balanced beer with a light bitterness in each mouthful.

On tap at Der Wolfskopf. Pours black, with a small, cream-colored head. The nose is caramel, light coffee, earth, and walnuts. Sweet and yeasty. Light to medium body, with a creamy, nitro-esque feel. This is a mellow and easy beer.

Godlen with a white head - Malt and some hints of hops in the aroma - Malt body with hop to balnce and give bitterness - Malt and some hop bitterness goes into the finish - This was nice

0,5 bottle. A really good;brown; black beer. The color is dark, brownish, clear. The head is light-brown. Its strongly scented with caramels. After taste, I can only say good things about it. They give a brisk experience for classic brown features - caramel, chocolate, sweet and slightly coffee. It is very good to drink, it doesn;t stick to the mouth, but it doesn't feel wet. It is a very pleasant surprise to me.

Retested several times. 2025 04. 08 - can. Boxed version. The beer is much "worse", waterier, and has less character, it is possible that they put different ingredients in it for different markets, or the quality has declined :(

Egy igazán jól sikerült;barna; fekete sör. A színe sötét, barnasörös, tiszta. Habja világosbarana. Illatra erősen karamelles. Ízlelés után csak jót tudok róla mondani. Sörös élményt is ad a klasszikus barna vonások - karamell, csokoládés, édeskés, kissé kávés jegyek mellett.. Nagyon jól iható is, nem ragad az ember szája, mégsem érződik vizesnek, vagy kis beltartalmúnak. Nekem nagyon kellemes meglepetés.

Újra tesztelve többször is. 2025 04. 08 - can. Dobozos verzió. Jóval "silányabb", vizesebb, és kevésbé karakteres a sör, elképzelhető, hogy más-más piacra mást töltenek bele, vagy visszaesett a minőség :(

16.9 oz can. One of those beers that I can't believe I've never rated. Pours black with brown highlights and a large beige head with excellent retention. Aroma is dark bread, chalky, malt. Taste is lightly sweet, finishing lightly bitter and dry. Flavors of bread, chocolate, toasted marshmallow, coffee. Could use a bit more carbonation. Not bad, but a bit bland.
