Bottle @ benzai. Clear amber colour with a small white head. Smells malts, herbs, floral, mint, green leafs, courgette. Tastes malty, sweetish, herbs. Way too much carbo (it ruins the experience), dry mouthfeel, medium body.

17/IV/13 - 33cl bottle from De Hopduvel (Gent) @ home - BB: IX/2013 - (2013-338)
Little cloudy dark orange beer, very big dens off-white head, very stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: lots of grains, sweet malts, raw grains, toast, bit butty. Mf: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet malts, some caramel, chocolate, bit sourish, alcohol, sugary touch. Aftertaste: sweet, alcohol warming the throat (really, at 5.5%???), caramel, citrus, bitter hops, some hay, dry and bitter ending. I really liked this beer. But I don't believe it's only 5.5% abv. I'm almost sure it has to be more.

Nice smooth blonde ale. Light aroma, but potent taste. Hazy golden color, with suspended "bits" of ingredients. Sweet malty aroma, taste has hops at the forefront with elements of citrus, lemongrass and bread. The French are getting better at this...

Very good fine & dense yellowish head over hazy orange-ochre beer. Intense, if spicy maltnose. Some citrus or citruspeel, garden herbs. Some yeasty notes, yeast offshoots. Bitterish, but again mainly malty main taste. Serious oxydation, yet BBD still six months away. Again herbal/spicy. Finish has some citruspeel reappearing. Oxydation works annoying, even when the flavourprofile seems right. Very carbonated, spritzy, medium bodied and quite slick. Despite the criticism, it’s not really bad, and certainly drinks away without much afterthought.

Bottled@PBF2010 (as L’Art & La Saveur Beer). Be quick when opening... Slightly hazy yellowish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is citrus, mild tartness, some slight wood and mild spicyness. Flavour is rather much the same with some mild yeastyness as well. Quite lively beer.

Clear orange to amer beer, small off-white head, unstable, little adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, overripe fruits, malts and grains, some orange marmalade, little sour (infected?), band-aid as well. MF: too much carbon, full body. Taste: citrus, band-aid (like glue or something), bit sour, malts, ripe fruits (banana). Aftertaste: still the band-aid thing, weird. Bitter and some spices, dry ending.

Pale coppery beer with Grünstich; good yellowish head, fed by lively carbonation. Sharpish greenery nose, smelling like unfinished fermentation, all kinds of off-aromas. Caramelly flavour, but all the above remarks for the nose remain. Finish is slightly sweet, giving it something fruity, with a faint overripe bananaester and more vegetable matter, as well as a peppery feel. Spritzy, near fizzy carbonation, sharp, astringent MF. Light to medium bodied with some alcoholburn. If Millevertus brewed this, they ought to be ashamed. If it hails really from France, well...

Foxy copper colour, a couple of UFO’s under a medium cream-coloured head. Good carbonation. Chocolatey nose, milkchocolate, stale beer, garden weeds & unripe fruit. Again something chocolatey (with a bit of soluble coffeepowder), like mole, if not hot, but with roasted peppers. Lots of roasted notes, peanuts too. Finish has a certain, if very light acidity. Slightly empty palate, light to medium bodied, well-carbonated feel, slight slickness. It ain’t bad, but it has some minor brewing defects. Bit strange. Where is this actually brewed?
