Golden color with medium white head. Aroma of citrus, dank, pines, zest, bready malt. Taste starts Malty, surprisingly wirh toasted notes, followed by decent citrus hoppy bitterness, together with dank, pines. Mesium long hoppy bitter finish. Good.

Canned from mfah cafe. Strongly malty with pine resin. Pretty useful east coast IPA I'd say....

I have a sixteen ounce can from the Total Wine in the Heights from a visit to Houston in November. The label on the can says the ABV is 6.3% and gives an IBU rating of 50. Keeping it in the neighborhood, I am using a Great Heights snifter on this tasting, so now is the time to pull the tab and pour. I see an opaque, dark orange-amber liquid with a proper top of off-white foam that indicates there could be some lacing. The scent is all right, reminds of IPAs the way they used to be. Pine, grass, citrus and perhaps some caramel. So, as good as the nose is, the taste only improves on that. Cedar, malt, grain, more of the citrus, meadow, hard candy and leather. Slightly sweet and a moderate amount of bitterness, I think the brewery got this one right.
