Like so many enthusiastic beer seekers, the creators of Fidens found themselves traveling all over to discover new beers and exciting breweries. As their love of craft beer and the brewing process grew they started on a small rig in the garage. Over time they brought their talents together and established the Fidens Brand at the end of 2019. The idea was simple, to open a small brewery locally where they would offer a quality product like those in their travels.

Pours a hazy, mustard yellow, with minimal head. Aroma is very dank and pungent, with a note of green onion/sharp cheese, along with citrus and tropical fruits. Flavor carries that same dank note, along with citrus and tropical fruit. Soft, smooth, lightly sweet mouthfeel. Very good.

Draft at ThebRuck. Pour jet black but not overly thick. Small beige head. Nose is chocolate and vanilla and soy sauce. Tastes the same. Touch of whisky. Quite nice.

473ml can [as Calla Lily]. Hazy, dark yellow-ish, golden colour with average, thick, dense, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Piney, tropical and citrusy fruity, hoppy aroma, oaty malty background, homogeneous, amalgamated fruitiness, a mixture of mango and orange. Taste is sweet-ish wheaty and oaty malty, juicy fruity and slightly piney hoppy, decent bitterness, notes of orange, tangerine; lingering, bitter hoppy finish. Creamy texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously dry palate, fine, prickly carbonation. Well balanced (on rather high level of sweet- and bitterness), homogeneous, focussed; a beer of sober elegance and concinnity - very good!

16oz can at home. No noticeable date. yellow murky color, medium big white head. smells grassy, lychee, earthy, bit dank, pines, pineapple, leathery. medium body, soft carbonation. tastes citric, grassy, earthy, mango, pineapple, bit peppery, bit leathery. finishes light to medium bitter with notes of mango, pineapple and some peppery notes. pretty good one, a tad dank, could use some more exotic fruit notes, overall nice stuff.
