Description
Like so many enthusiastic beer seekers, the creators of Fidens found themselves traveling all over to discover new beers and exciting breweries. As their love of craft beer and the brewing process grew they started on a small rig in the garage. Over time they brought their talents together and established the Fidens Brand at the end of 2019. The idea was simple, to open a small brewery locally where they would offer a quality product like those in their travels.

Pours a hazy, lighter lemon yellow, with smallish head. Aroma is fairly dank, with light garlic upfront, followed by citrus and a touch of tropical fruit. Flavors follow. Mouthfeel is fairly smooth, maybe just a touch on the thin side. Moderate to above levels of hop bitterness in the finish.

Can from House of Cans, Soho. Exceedingly nice nose of mango, peach, pineapple, papaya, guava, grapefruit, apricot jam.Taste is full on tropical fruit juice, breakfast juice, orange juice, grapefruit juice, I'll wager there's a theme here 🤔. Boozy, juicy & hides its ABV very well indeed.

Celebrating our first ever competitive European victory 🔴🔵🦅3-1 v AZ Alkmaar. Lots of mango and papaya, citrusy juicy tangerine and grapefruit, peachy notes, thick sweet creamy malty backbone, warming solid balanced bitter hoppy finish. Gorgeous.

Pours a hazy, gold-banana, with smallish head. Aroma is citrus and tropical fruit. Flavor is citrus and tropical fruit. Not really tasting or smelling the strawberry--perhaps it needs to be expanded upon? Soft mouthfeel. Mild to moderate hop bitterness in the finish.

Can (8/21/25) from the brewery. Opaque, milky yellow with nice sparkle, thin head with poor retention and light lacing. Aroma is strong cooking herbs over citrus and white grape. Taste is strong herb, malt, yeast over mild citrus and white grape. Smooth, frothy texture, average carbonation and dry, yeasty finish. A Fidens IPA to be sure. Yearning for more grape-y Nelson.
