Description
Like so many enthusiastic beer seekers, the creators of Fidens found themselves traveling all over to discover new beers and exciting breweries. As their love of craft beer and the brewing process grew they started on a small rig in the garage. Over time they brought their talents together and established the Fidens Brand at the end of 2019. The idea was simple, to open a small brewery locally where they would offer a quality product like those in their travels.

Can shared at Væskebalancen Bar (sheltering from the rain outside) - Big intense punchy fruity goodness on the nose upon open, taste follows delivering hits of passion fruit, white grape, tangerine, gooseberry, fresh green grassy hoppy, tingling hop spice bite, robust solid hoppy finish. Gorgeous.

Reporting for #FidensFriday duty! That dank onion Fidens is famous for, at least to me. Green, vegetal, some melon, and obviously bright. This is beer is the opposite of Thomas Frank.

Can (8/18/25) from the brewery. Opaque, milky yellow with light sparkle, thin head with fair retention and nice lacing. Aroma is strong white grape, mild vegetal/herb, healthy malt backbone, hint of pineapple rind. Taste follows aroma with slightest alcohol astringency, flavor. Smooth, soft texture, medium bodied, soft carbonation, mostly malty finish. Impressive to brew a 13% IPA without a ton of alcohol presence or super malty, as a technical feat. Beyond that, as noted below, don't need a massive quad IPA.
