Pours a hazy, butterscotch-banana color, with big, lasting head. Aroma has a green onion/garlic note upfront, followed by citrus and tropical fruit. Flavors all follow. ABV is well-hidden in both aroma and flavor. Soft mouthfeel. Moderate levels of hop bitterness in the finish.

16oz can. Looks like pulp. Murky orange gold with plenty of creamy white head. Smells like pulp. Orange curd and pineapple, perfume and grass and dried herbs. Flavor has malt and oats and I get some wheat here. Flowers and dried herbs. Melon, orange sherbet, perfume. Some cheese curd. Big and you feel it. Some booze. Some cheesiness.

Big mango nose is authentic and spicy. Maybe outdoes the hops a bit, but it is just Citra, so the hops are woven in pretty well, I guess.
Soft, malty, succulently sweet. Excellent mango with spice and trailing hop bitterness. Juicy and rich and soft. On the sweeter, maltier side but there's excellent bitterness from hop and fruit.

Pours a hazy, chalky-banana color, with minimal head. Aroma has a strong note of rotting tropical fruit, some citrus, and some green onion/garlic. Flavors follow, along with a touch of alcohol burn. Soft mouthfeel. Moderate to above levels of hop bitterness running through the finish.

Can at home, from J and B Craft Drinks, Amsterdam, 27th November 2025. Pours a milky yellow orange hoppy soup. Aroma is heady, tropical fruits, mangos and pineapple. Taste is super smooth, mangoes, banana, pineapple, dry, little sign of the ABV and this is red wine strength, it’s a heavy hitter and you can feel it. As a novelty I’m impressed, but we seem to be getting more of these massive IPA, TIPAs and now QUADs - a battle to impress, I think this is probably as good as it gets at 13% for an IPA

Herb? Scallion? Stone fruit and mild citrus for sure. Not too heavy on the intense, drying Galaxy, but nothing too exciting from the Galaxy either. Some mineral, some white wine, I guess. Malts are well-done; rich honey but nothing sugary or too intense. No alcohol noted.
Malty and rich with big honey character up front, drying out with Galaxy earthiness/chalk and some herbage. Not really getting any significant scallion, but this does have some bitter alcohol and slight hop burn. Galaxy is pretty ambitious in these giant IPAs, as it just seems to exacerbate the alcohol. Still, all that said, this is well-made and most importantly, not sweet or overtly boozey.

Heavy unripe tropical fruit, bit of passion fruit juice and some white wine and mineral, but not quite as round and vibrant as the way Nelson does it at its best. But certainly nothing to scoff at. Some light, floral orange juice character and cracker+white bread malt to gently balance.
Bright and perky with excellent, above average bitterness for the style but also quite malty with deep, deep, supple malts. Orange and passion fruit lead the way with peppery bitterness. Perhaps starting to turn herbal at its age but not horribly so. Excellent balance, big mineral and white wine, with a ton of flavor and body for its small size.

The white grape! The mineral! Yes! Soft, honey-like malts gently support and there seems to be a healthy acidity.
Oh yeah! Fluffy malts are soft and attenuated adding balancing honey. Big white wine, light pine and black pepper with strong mineral on the finish. Maybe some guava and grapefruit rind character in there. Nice and dry, but with supple malts. Tons and tons of flavor. Oh yeah, and definitely some petrol (shout out to bookman)
