16 oz. can from a trade with tfontana. Aroma is weak white grape with mango and soft herb underneath that. Big citrus, light white grape, and ends on some booze.
Texture is dry, but I would expect it with this amount of booze. Lightly juicy texture. Certainly not bad in anyway, but this amount of alcohol is kinda nonsensical. It’s ok. I’m not following the groupthinkthink on this brew.

Can (5/4/26) from the brewery. Opaque banana-smoothie yellow, nice sparkle, thin head with good retention, light lacing. Aroma is strong citrus, lesser white grape over hint of herb, biscuit background. Taste is strong citrus over white grape with some alcohol (lessens as warms). Smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation, alcohol astringency and dry, crisp, yeasty finish. Fidens is usually so good at covering up alcohol, even when double digits. Not quite on this one.

Canned 5/4/26, drunk 7/6/26, from tfontana. Thanks, Tom!
Soft melon and strawberry with white grape and peppery spice. But the herbal qualities are low, with the strawberry-melon-like character prominent and aromatic. Rich malts, but this doesn't seem like a syrupy malt bomb. And even with light swirling, I'm not getting any alcohol.
Bit of strong spice with good acidity. Rich, honeyed malts balance nicely but relinquish a drier finish. Not really getting as much of the melon and white grape as I did in the aroma, but the flavors are still interesting and there is some of it (again, mostly strawberry and light melon) lingering on the finish. Touches of white Bordeaux persist, as well. Excellent attenuation and not boozey.
Agree with Bookman's sentiments that the mouthfeel is underwhelming for the abv (not underwhelming overall, but less than what you'd expect for its size. Seems to be that Fidens is intent on making numerous TIPA's that drink like doubles).

Pours a hazy, brownish-gold, with mid-sized head. Aroma is tropical fruit and citrus. Flavors follow. ABV is well-hidden in aroma and flavor. Mouthfeel seems a touch thin for the ABV. Moderate hop bitterness carries through the finish.
