12 ounce can from Woodman's Appleton, 11/25/20. Clear dark brown, thin head. Aroma of chocolate, nuts. Taste is roast, nuts, cherry, chocolate. Thin. Not bad, but this would be better if they called it a brown ale.

12 ounce can from Woodman's Appleton, 11/25/20. Slightly hazy gold, thin foamy white head, good retention. Aroma of nuts, hay, corn, earthy hops. Taste is pale malt, white bread, corn, citrus. Medium bodied, a bit sticky. Some diacetyl in texture if not in flavor. Decent balance. Pretty decent but some faint warning signs there.

12 ounce can from Woodman's Appleton, 11/25/20. Hazy orange, thin tan head. Aroma of corn and diacetyl. Taste is much the same. Butterscotch and buttered popcorn. Thin. I know there's corn in this, but it ain't good.

NE IPA...yeah right. Filtered looking body, lowest of the low NE IPA frauds. An OK Pale Ale sort of, maybe a British Pale Ale. Pathetic attempt at the style.

Tap at Hillsboro. Brown-black body. Steady beige head. Homebrew body, poor attenuation. Decent enough flavor, no off tones, but no finesse either.

On tap at Hillsboro. I had been curious about this one for awhile. Amber-brown body. Big vanilla tones outweigh and bourbon. Vanilla brown ale. Bourbon is distant. Meh.

Tap at Hillsboro. Extract centered wheat beer. A starburst certainly has more character. Not sure what they were going for here. One-dimensional, amateur, homebrew level stuff. Unimpressive.

On tap at Hillsboro. Filtered. Much more like a Steam beer than a Czech Lager. Rather mediocre light beer house option.
