Dull bronze with slight haze. The aroma is big, citrusy and floral with columbus, amarillo and I might even get a little of the orange from simcoe plus lychee. Medium bitterness, clean and balanced. Rich, earthy, citrusy and floral. The hops are fresher on tap (Banana Jam, Pride & Glory) than when consumed from the bottle. Good balance, though, and as of today the hoppiest beer in Africa.

Bottle. Fiery amber colour. Thin head. The aroma has a fair amount of caramel. On the palate, this expresses itself as fresh, chewy crystal malt, backed with moderate bitterness and slightly leafy hops. High quality amber.

Light gold. The aroma is lightly fruity, but with a little plasticy accent. The taste is yeasty, but more of an English yeast, so there is not much saison character to this. I had it a second time just to be sure...disappointing given how good their other products are.
