Can during 2nd Annual Midlands tasting group; clear straw yellow pour with a frothy white head, aroma has malt and grass, taste has some skunk, wet cardboard and dried grass which I think is hay.

Can from Carrefour, drunk 4/23/15
Really just knocking off a Tahiti rate and had super low expactions. Thankfully this was actually quite good. No flaws to it which is always a plus and well-enough attenuated. While it could be a touch more dry, as most industrial pale lagers could, the bit of extra maltiness, which importantly, tastes of actual malt, isn’t unwanted. Moderate carbonation, light bitterness and just a touch of grassy and peppery hoppiness. Clear gold with a large white head that recedes to cover. Fine, drinkable. One could do much worse than drink this on a beach in Tahiti.

Bottle, 0.33l, shared with CanCrusher. Pours clear pale golden with thin white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma is bready, mild yeasty and grassy. Tastes light sweet and sour grainy with crisp and dry mouthfeel and moderate bitter finish. Light body, watery texture and lively carbonation in palate. Very similar to German pilseners, but much more weaker...

The standard lager from Tahiti, with loose but lacing, lightly greyish white head and clear pale golden colour with somewhat greenish hue and vivid sparkling. Minerals and sourish grains in the nose (rice!), iron, grass, faint biscuit touch and a whiff of burning plastic. Neutral onset with sharpish, minerally carbonation, slightly oily but otherwise thin mouthfeel, sourish rice effect as in an Asian lager, clearly metallic ’sound’, grassy hop bitterishness in the finish, medium long and drying, but this may also have to do with a kind of chemical, plastic-like solvents effect, as in many ’macro lagers’. I can only see this function ice cold on a Tahiti beach, with the Polynesian ladies suggested on the label not too far away... Outside of this context: bland and boring lager as there are far too many in this world.
