Bottle courtesy of Kermis. The aroma is malty and a little creamy. The flavour is bitter, malty and a rather strange aftertaste. It wasn’t so bad really, but it’s not likely to win many awards outside Tahiti!

Dark amber colour. The aroma is a little bit bubblegummy. The taste has toasty malts with a hint of roast - less caramelly than one might expect, but those random phenols give me pause when I see it in the stores. It’s too bad, normally a little toasty lager would be a good break from the monotony of regular Hinano.

500ml bottle got in a trade. Thanks for the country tick! Poured into a shaker. Pours a clear, pale gold with minimal head. Aroma of grains, light floral hops and a little tropical fruit. Taste is light bitter. Floral and citrus with some grains. Light bodied with a thin texture. Lively carbonation and a decently long finish. Overall, pretty darn good. I can just imagine drinking this on a beach in Tahiti...that would be awesome!

Location: Can at Paul's Blind Impy Stout Tasting (I would say this was easily the lightest beer at the tasting), 1/5/13

Aroma: The nose is light and malty, not much going on, some grains and straw
Appearance: It pours the expected clear yellow color, and has a small head
Flavor: The taste is light as well, with some grains, and a somewhat unpleasant aftertaste
Palate: The body is light and a little watery, with a crisp, clean feel that's decent enough for the style.
Overall Impression: Thanks for my first Tahiti tick! Anyway, this wasn't THAT bad, it's boring and unexciting, but it's drinkable. It is what it is.

Bottle shared by GT2, um... thanks? Poured a light golden yellow color with a wispy white head. Looks and seems like a typical macro brew. Light and pale, inoffensive, but that’s about it.
