Can from CroCraft, with Hrabren and Ogi. Very dark chestnut body, off-white head. Bajadera aroma, almond, vanilla, cocoa. Creamy, light cocoa, vanilla, light roasty taste, simple, ending a bit astringent. Okay really!

Can from CroCraft & More. Lightly hazy golden body, off-white head. Odd almond-pineapple-white wine touch in the background of the sweetish aroma. Empty dry taste, vaguey fruity, some yellow fruit somewhere, ending mildly astringent. I mean, had worse German Pilsner attempts. Minerally. Average, but drinkable, unlike Biokovo Lager --- Beer aliased from original tick of Pils on 05 Jun 2021 at 19:10 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7. Original review text: Tap at Hops!. Misty golden body, thick white head. Huge flowery aroma hops at first, really on point, dominating everything. Not really a pilsnerish taste though, though the soft flowery hops do show up again, albeit lighter. Light light grainy malty touches, very little bitterness, smooth and soft, only got a light fruity touch at a few moments that felt slightly out of place, but I wasn't sure if I was imagining it. In any case, a very good, classically well hopped lager, in the vein of some stabs at the style by much more prominent craft breweries (and better than some), big props for that.

Can from CroCraft & More. Clear shiny pale amber body, off-white head. Yeasty, bit vegetal aroma, almond?! Weird. Smooth, lean, dry taste, some caramelly maltiness, sure, some almonds, low to no hoppiness, astringent. This is... bad... empty, what little taste there is is questionable... if this is the same recipe as Biokovsko was, then they are failing the execution even worse than before... This is worse than Favorit is nowadays. FAVORIT! --- Beer aliased from original tick of Biokovsko on 05 Jun 2021 at 18:47 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 6.5. Original review text: Tap at Hops! Makarska. Hazy deep golden body, off white head. Grainy aroma, light herbal touches. Somewhat sweetish, simple taste, again grainy-toasty, some touches of herbal touch. Slightly fuller than your average lager but all in all, fine enough, clean, servicable lager.

On tap at Hops! Beer & Food Factory, Friday 5th September 2025 after another walk from Camp Riviera Makarska. Pours yellow with a haze, large white head. Nose is a little polite but there's a light fruity edge and perhaps a little wheat. The taste is a bit more on the ball with banana and wheatiness, but best of all it's super refreshing and really hits the spot. Like this, only downside is that I do like a Hefeweisse in a Hefeweisse glass.

On tap at Hops Beer & Food Factory, Makarska, Croatia, Thursday 4th September 2025 after a short walk from our campsite on the edge of town. Pours hazy yellow/gold, with a small/mid sized white head. Great aroma, very tropical with nods to mango and perhaps there's a little pineapple also. More tropical with touches of citrus and less resinous than I'd have hoped for the style. Surprisingly lean and easy drinking for the abv, cannot believe it's 6.5%, it's very easy drinking.

On tap at Hops Beer & Food Factory, Makarska, Croatia, Thursday 4th September 2025 after a short walk from our campsite on the edge of town. Pours gold, good clarity, small/mid sized white head. Light fruitiness and hoppiness is subtle. Style wise this could offer a more crisp bite and perhaps a little more dryness, that said it's not too sweet, it's very drinkable and a decent beer.
