12oz bottle. A pretty respectable IPA, what you wish their regular offerings would taste like. Unfiltered greyed-orange body, thick. Glass lacing thin white head. Kind of drinks like a bigger, yeastier session IPA, there isn’t really a lot of depth of malt or hops. Refreshing, cool, crisp. Mellow for the ABV.

Pours a clear, golden yellow, with lots of effervescence and a solid, mid-sized head. Aroma is very floral, with lots of grass, some fruit, some hops. Flavor is quite grassy, too, with some citrus, and a lot of hops. Also, I’ve seen this in other reviews, but this is the first time I’ve noticed it--this beer has a touch of onion flavor to it as well (kind of odd).

On tap at Muddy Waters. Pours a clear yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of grass with some citrus and a good amount of light grain. Flavor has grass, light pine and light citrus with a grain backbone.

On tap at Muddy Waters. Pours a golden yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma combines grains, bread, grass and a bit of pine. Flavor starts with grains and bread but finish is more bitter with pine.

On tap at Red Cow North Loop. Pours a clear yellow gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma is full of citrus with a slight tropical fruit note and a light grain backbone. Flavor has much more bitter citrus with a grapefruit bite and a bit of grain backing.

A deep dark brown ale with a thick frothy. lacing mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, light coffee, nice. In mouth, a nice sweet chocolate malt with light peated notes, grassy hops, light mineral notes, light licorice, still solid after 2 years.

poured from a can. This beer is very well carbonated and had a tall, lasting head. Light copper color. Aroma has dry grass, plants, and a little citrus, which i expected would mean some citrus flavor, but that wasn’t there. Flavor is dry and bitter. Some grain, minimal sweetness and hop bitterness. I have three more cans and will rerate if my impression changes, but I picked up far less tropical and citrus character than I expected. Still, it is a solid beer.

Bottle. Nothing here we have not seen before. Gold color, not much head on this beer. Mild, grassy hops. Flavor has a lot of bread/cracker flavor, and the hops are again dry grass and dry on the palate. Not a bad beer, but not exciting in any way either.

Sampled at Beer Dabbler. At least one brewery brought something new. Roasted character from the stout, but the chai is prominent in the flavor, you definitely know it is there, and I cannot recall another sweet stout I have tasted with Chai. Good.
