Het Burgunder Brouwhuus richt zich weer op de oude Nederlandse en Saksische biertypes en is mede opgericht om deze oude "verdwenen" biersoorten weer nieuw leven in te blazen.

Bottled (from de Biertonne). Deep golden colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, fruity, some toffee and mild spicy tones. Flavour is tart fruits, some herbs, yeast, mild berries and grains. Tastes like fermentation gone wrong. Watery. Boozy aftertaste.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, yellow-ish golden colour with small, frothy, fading, white head. Citrusy fruity hoppy and minimally starchy, pale malty aroma, ephemeral notes of lemon, hints of green apple, whiffs of sauerkraut. Taste is bitter, tart-ish, citrusy Fritz hoppy, relatively neutral, pale malty, hints of old lemon peel, green apple, a touch of quince and sauerkraut; slightly bitter, grassy-fruity finish. Watery texture, indifferent, almost minimally astringent palate, fine, soft, mildly prickly carbonation. Far from anything legitimately called Bock, tart-ish, fruity - rather strange concoction.

Bottled 330ml (AIH147)
Amber-golden colour, small white head. Aroma has some riped fruits and yeast. Light-bodied. Very watery for its ABV. Just some green apple, fruityness, low bitterness. Neh.
