Draught at Dominion Beer & Wine: pours hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is citrus, light grain. Taste is lightly salty, fruity. Not bad.

Can, at share, thanks to me courtesy of Max. Pours hazy pale yellow. Toast, melon, sweaty, guava, really sweaty, savory melon notes. Medium body. Weird. Not good.

Fairly hazy deep pink and violet coloured body with a nice, three to four centimetre tall off-white and tan head that fades slowly, but leaves a thin lace on the top. Aroma of very sour berries with a bunch of alcohol, stronger malts, some biscuity notes, a dash of yeast and a ton of sweetness as well, with fructose being strongest, but there is also some creaminess to this perhaps from lactose. Medium to Full-bodied; Very rich malty and pungent flavour at first with fruits being far and away the strongest flavour profile, but some lactose and honey shows through and brings out a lot of sweetness, all on top of the deeper malt and pungent richness, with a dash of alcohol noticeable on the edges. Aftertaste shows some rich fruity characteristics with a dry and floral rustic quality from the blackberries and blueberries with a strong, pungent and deep bite at the very end. Overall, a nice and very flavourful, tart, but sweet fruit beer with a lot of creaminess with lactose seemingly showing, but the rich malts, alcohol and pungent flavours give some nice complexity along with a varied flavour, compared to most from the style. Great to sample and a nice option, even though I'm not sure I understand what Clover Club is, this beer, as a fruit beer is nice! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Crystal City Wine Shop in Arlington, Virginia on 03-April-2020 for US$4,76 sampled at my house here in Washington a few blocks away on 03-June-2021.
