At source: pours hazy yellow with white head. Aroma is lightly tropical and a tad herbal. Lightly bitter with mellow sweetness. Well made.

16 ounce can from brewery. Honey gold pour. Small white ring. Sweet malt aroma hints at honey, banana and clove. Flavor follows nose. Sweet malt, lemon peel, honey, yeast and clove. Notes of warming alcohol in middle. Sticky mouthfeel. Added notes of pear, honey crisp apples and coriander.

16 ounce can from brewery. Number one with a bullet. Jet black pour. Brief tan head. Roasted malt aroma hints at sweet bourbon and oak. Flavor is sweet roasted malt, bittersweet chocolate, resiny hops and charred wood. A bit harsh initially. It mellows a bit as it warms.

Libertee Grounds: pours darkish with beige head. Aroma is light fruitiness, slight boozy note, hint of chocolate. Sweet, low bitterness. Still refreshing.

Can, courtesy of mansquito. Pours pale gold and very fizzy. Pear, honey, floral, apple juice, little marzipan, hefty booze. Creamy body. Tasty.

16 ounce can from the brewery. Clear, medium gold pour. Large frothy off-white head. Sweet grainy malt aroma has biscuity notes. Crisp, grainy malt flavor has a touch of lemon zest. Herbal, spicy hops in the brief, dry finish.

On tap at brewery. Number one with a bullet. Amber gold pour. Frothy beige head is minimal. Earthy, fruity malt aroma. Sweet, fruity malt flavor has notes of apple, pear, fruitwood, caramel and vanilla. There is a subtle hint of oakiness in the middle. Beer begins to dry out a bit on the backend. Finishes with spice and dried fruit.

On tap at brewery. Translucent cola brown color. Small tan cap. Toasted malt and caramel aroma. Flavor follows nose. Sweet caramel, brown bread and mild cocoa. Smooth and malty. Easy drinking.

Hazy gold with a small white head. Boozy with table sugar. A bit of golden fruit and a faint herbal/spicy note. Long finish. Moderately full bodied. Booziness grows.
