Sampled at Great Taste of the Midwest, 2015. A gruit. brown color. hickory in the aroma, that is a surprise. Sizable off white head. Flavor is dry, I am not picking up any spice, and actually the aroma of a brewery with raw cereal grains.

Growler. Pours a clear amber orange with a tan head that dissipates to the edges slowly. Aroma has lots of sweet grains and caramel with a bit of bread underlying. Flavor has a good amount of caramel and toffee with a touch of sweet grains and bread.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy earthy amber with a tan head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of tea with light fruits and a sweet grain backbone. Flavor has sweet bread and cookie with tea and a decent amount of hibiscus.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has a strong Belgian yeast note with flora, grass and sweet grains supporting. Flavor is similar with flora and Belgian yeast throughout with underlying grass and grains.

Nitro at the brewery. Pours a hazy orangish gold with a white head that lasts through the beer and laces. Aroma has sweet citrus notes with sweet grains and a touch of caramel. Flavor combines bitter citrus with sweet citrus and has a sweet grain backbone.
