Blond color. Simple aroma, simple taste, but with a sharp, dry, bitterness and a long final. Good with food.

Blond color. Too much corn note in the aroma and flavor. Quite dry. Just for the thirst.

Clear yellow color. Hoppy aroma. Muffy taste. Just another average pils. Those Hungarians don't know about beer.

a dark amber color, with a fruity type aroma. Medium body with a little bitterness at the end of the sip.

The beer was slightly darker than orange with a nice white head. The smell was definately malty, but somewhat subtle otherwise. The taste was very malty with a bit of sweetness and almost no hop characteristics. I would classify this as a 'Bock' rather than a 'Doppelbock', but perhaps the translation Double-Malt gears it more towards the latter. I purchased this in a bottle at 'the Italian Store' in Arlington, Virginia.

Bottled(660ml). -this is much better beer then Sans Souci, golden coloured, malty aroma, little head, refreshing

Typical of Italian pilsners in general - clean and dry, with faint malt notes and a grassy hop character in the finish. Light body, but the carbonation while enthusiastic is not as harsh as your average macro lager.
