ABV: 5.0%. [ Shared by Lars ]. Clear medium yellow colour with a small to average, fizzy, good to fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, grain, sweet malt, corn, grass, silage, cardboard, paper. Flavor is light moderate sweet with a average duration, grain, corn, sweet malt, paper - cardboard, light grass - silage. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20200224]

Can thanks to TC, shared at home - clear golden coloured pour with a white head. 9/3/2019. Can from Laos courtesy of Painy. Pours golden with a short lasting white head. Aroma of corn, grass, metal, citrus and veg. Medium plus sweetness, minimal bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, fine carbonation. Not great.

330mL can, pours a clear piss yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out straw, light corn and dry biscuity malt. Flavour is similar, with straw, a little corn and a touch of cereal malt sweetness. Another pointless, same-y, industrial pale lager. It's a tick.

Bottle at Tyson Kitchen, pours a clear copper with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out light rice and some malty toasted malt. Flavour is similar, with toasted malt, a touch of caramel, and light rice. Clean and drinkable - not too bad really.

Fles 640mL in Vientiane, Laos. Donkergeel bier met schuim. Smaak is verrassend goed met iets van caramel en licht bitter hoppig. Wordt hier als Black Rice Beer aangeboden.

Helder geel bier met weinig schuim. Fles 0.64L in Luang Prabang, Laos. Smaak is licht bitter hoppig en ietwat vlak. Is zeker niet slecht maar kan beter. Koud smaakt het best.
