Bottle. Vintage 2002. A clear, flat, dark amber colored beer with some light beige bubbles. The aroma is caramel-driven, with toffee notes, some bread and a fruity hint. It's medium bodied, quite dry, yet with a distinct sweetness. Not much carbonation going on. Caramel, toffee and some bread in the flavor, along with dried fruits and a touch of dark berries. Lasting finish, where also some coffee hints chimes in. Interestingly tasteful after all these years, but with low drinkability. 210516

I have had this one now and then many years back in time. It was a decent plain pilsner. Now many years later…..it is not at all made for humans. So my rating is based on an earlier experience [Bottle at The Hamar Sessions 20]
