Can brought back from Malta by a friend. Light golden colour, with a small white head. Aroma of malt and maize. Quite sweet, thin texture, rather metallic, perhaps suffering from canning and maybe better bottled/draft. 10/7/2018. Draft at The Oasis bar at the Corinthia hotel, Malta. Similar to before, though with more body and with light floral and fruity notes. Bit better as draft.

Clear warm golden colour, white head. Malty aroma, old malts, adjunct, light hops and cardboard. Light bitter flavour, sweet malts. Malty finish, light hops, slightly metalic. Bit disappointing, expected more.

15/VII/13 - 33cl CAN @ home - BB: VI/2013, yet only bought in July 2013 in Malta... (2013-635) Thanks to Felix and Nele for the can!

Clear light orange beer, creamy irregular white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: bit soapy, floral touch, metallic, grains. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: bitter start, some citrus, lemony, slightly fruity touch. Aftertaste: bitter, very metallic, some orange peel, sweet, hint of hops. Why did you guys call this HOPleaf? Also, why did you call this an ale? Seriously.

Can at Craft Beer Clerkenwell thanks to Bob, 09/03/13. Clear pale golden with a good sized white head. Nose is pale malts, piss, sugars, citrus. Taste follows, grass, sugars, lemon. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, surprisingly non too fizzy! Ok for a pale lager - pleasantly surprised!

Can shared at CBC, Clerkenwell, London. Pours clear, light yellow with a fine, white foam head. Doughy, papery malts in the nose. Light sweet flavor, distinct paper, some hay, dry dough. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly dry to finish, some further papery pale and doughy malts, light straw. Simple beer overall.
