330ml bottle. Cloudy, orange, dark golden to amber colour with average to huge, thick, dense, creamy, moderatly lasting and lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, wheaty malty and yeasty fruity, slightly fruity hoppy and minimally yeasty spicy aroma, notes of banana and mandarine, a touch of pear and clove. Taste is sweet, pale malty with a minimally starchy touch, minimally wheaty malty, slightly yeasty fruity, minimally fruity hoppy and yeasty spicy, minimally diluted hints of banana, mandarine, a touch of pear, orange, clove; minimally dry, leafy hoppy finish. Creamy texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, medium to fine, dense, soft, creamy carbonation. Very nice appearance and mouthfeel, a tad simple and streamlined, sadly with a minimally starchy touch - not bad, though.

330ml. can. @home. 08/07/2023 [#6.524 Global - #479 Germany - #2 Einbecker Brauhaus] Pours unclear golden with a diminishing off-white head. Aroma: plenty of grassy herbal hops, mild honey and bread. Taste: malt forward with grassy and honey notes. Toffee and bready mouthfeel. Long dry finish. Bit warming. Next one please!

On tap pours out copper topped with a small sand head. Nose is light caramel malts some pitfruit and a little spice. Taste is more of the nice sweet malts pitfruit and some spice.

Fles 33cl thuis. Maltzoetje, grassig, citrus, süffig, carameltonen, wat grainy, bittertonen. Fijne balans. (21-6-2023).

In einer Doku habe ich gesehen, dass das klasssische bayrische Helle im Mittelalter eigentlich in der Stadt Einbeck entwickelt wurde und dann über Händler nach Bayern gelangte, wo es sich immer größerer Beliebtheit freute und im Norden das Helle immer mehr vom Pils abgelöst wurde. Darum finde ich das Einbecker Puls als sehr sehr bezeichnend. Es ist ein nettes Pils, das sich gut trinken lässt, aber auch nicht das Nonplusultra. Gemütlich, aber sonst eher einfach und flach.

Apparently hadn't rated this yet, although I had it many times. Clear golden colour, rocky white head with fair retention. Aroma's of malts, grain, some hops. Flavour is light moderate sweet with a light moderate bittern backbone. Medium bodied. Bitterness increases towards the finish. Pretty much how a Maibock should be (duh).
