Backlog November 2009. Goden body with a few floaters under a disappearing white head. Aroma of sweet malt, esters and spicy yeast. Taste is sweet malt, fruity, spicy and bitter with warming alcohol. A bit unusually as a Saison but there is something here making it interesting.

Bottle. Amber in color with a three finger head. Aroma and taste leans to the malt side. Just an average amber beer.

Good black pour, big beige head. Huge aroma of smoke, and peat. Burnt malts, and loads of espresso. The hops dont come out much until the finish. The finish is very green, big notes of pine, and highly bitter. Nice beer.

Bottle 0,5ltr: Opaque black coloured brew with an beige head, with an good roasted malts taste and its have also some Bambergian smoked hints in the back. Quite good xbeeriment an Foreign Export Stout meets Rauchbier, and an US flag as label.

Draught@CBC2013. Black colour, mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is liquorice, mild alcohol, chocolate and some mild vanilla with quite much wooden tones too. Flavour is oaky, but also some freshly cut wooden tones with alcohol and some slight syrupy and liquorice tones qith some chocolate in the finish too.

Draught@SBWF2013 (thanks to Victor VsXsV). Opaque black colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown head, that lasts for quite a while. Aroma is smoke, bourbon, wood and some oak with mild liquorice tones. Flavour is smoked, liquorice, some dried fruits and mild toffeeish tones. Smooth and wellbalanced.

Draught. Hazy coppery ruby colour with a small pink head. Aroma is lactic acid, some berries and mild wooden tones. Flavour is alcohol, some berries, tart wood and mild spiciness. Elderberries quite evident when you realize them.

Draught. Hazy pale golden colour with a minor white head. Aroma is fruity, sour wooden and rather bretty and slightly herbal tones. Flavour is acidic, some zesty, citrus and mild bretty and herbal tones. On the verge of being over the top and harsh, but luckily stays on the good side of things.
