Can. Mitchell’s Wines. Quid and a tick. Boom! Clear gold. Nicely soppy white foam. Proper malts and decent privet leaf hoppage. Even a hint of peppery leaf. Just about semi sweet but this has decent levels of bitterness. Good clean easy drinker overall with a bitter and light dry finish. Good, especially for 20 bob.

330ml bottle. Clear, brass colour with average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Weak lemonade aroma with a herbal touch, grainy, pale malty background. Taste is sweet, herbal and fruity, slightly grainy, pale malty basis. Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, smooth and soft palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Can't see the craftsmanship of brewing here - just the decision of mixing two already existent fluids in a certain proportion. And one of them remains rather neutral, the other has nothing to do with brewing.

From bottle. Lemonade, almdudler, dishwasher, beer, lemon. Dry sourness, sweetness, hints of bitterness. Light boiled, watery texture, lively carbonated, dry lemony sugary sweetness. A good Radler.

Can 50 cl. Pours a clear golden with a neat, lacing white head with good retention - a good looking beer. Nose has a little floral hops and a note of wort. Light body, a little sticky wort and no bitterness. 300824

330ml bottle. Opalescent, yellow-ish, dark golden colour with average, dense, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Artificial lemonade aroma, notes of citric acid and artificial sweetener, slightly grainy, pale malty background. Taste is sweet-ish and tart-ish, citrusy fruity, weak, grainy, pale malty background, hints of lemon, citric acid, artificial sweetener. Watery texture, minimally dry palate, medium to fine, dense, prickly carbonation. Quite expressionless, at least are some malty flavours detectable - forgettable.

Can 50 cl. Comes as ‘Krombacher Natur Radler’ at 2,0% ABV. Pours a cloudy, opaque pale yellow with a lacing, white head. Fresh, clean lemon aroma. Not overly sweet, and no real trace of the beer. A lovely pop. 270824
