Bottle @ Home. Pours dark amber with a offwhite head. Aroma of malt, caramel, light brown sugar, little dusty. Flavor is sweet, malty, caramel, brown sugar, light nuts. Thin to medium body, lively carbonation, sweet finish. 210316

Pours gold with a creamy white head that lingers. Unfortunately the pleasure stops there. Aroma is moldy wet towel and cooked mushroom. Taste is bitter, grainy, lightly grassy and ladened with metallic hints. Uggh. Probably one of the worse German beers I’ve drunk. Drainpour.

Can. A- Grapefuit, citrus. A- Peach color, hazy liquid, minimal head. T- Grapefruit, sweet, citrus. P- Light body, average texture, high carbonation, refreshing finish. O- So tasty. Basically like a beer squirt. Lots of refreshing and tart grapefruit but not too sweet. A perfect summer refresher.

Dose („Astra Premium Bier“, 33 cl) vom Pyongyang Shop. - Sattes Goldgelb, blank, handelsüblicher Schaum. - In der Nase mattes, schwach süßliches Malz, eine Andeutung von Karamel und ein wenig dumpf-muffige Herbe. - Im Antrunk platte, fade Malzsüße mit unpassender, limonadeartig dünner Fruchtigkeit (Fanta?); dazu ein bißchen Säure. Im Hintergrund fad-muffige Herbe, die wohl Hopfen darstellen soll. Durchschnittlich rezent, langweiliges Mundgefühl. Im Abgang schwache, dumpf-unaromatische Herbe. Blecherner, stumpf-herber Nachtrunk. - Belangloses, brausig-dünnes Gesöff, eine Beleidigung für die Geschmacksknospen.

Bottle from JSG Wine Merchants, Hills Road, Cambridge. Light gold with a bit of white head. Cornmeal and barley aroma. Bitter taste with that acrid back-of-the-throat bilious taste you find in low-quality lagers. This isn’t good, reminds me of many of the worst US macros.
