330ml bottle. Clear, pale, faint golden colour with small to average, thick, frothy to creamy, white head. Artificial, citrusy fruity alcopop aroma, orange, mandarine, hints of artificial sweetener. Taste is sweet, initially artificially citrusy fruity, an intrinsically neutral potato-vodka touch flashes up in the middle part; minimally dry, aspartam finish. Kinda shit, naturally, but does no harm to the underlying (naked?) "beer".

Bottle courtesy of Deanso. Poured a clear straw colour with a frothy white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is skunky malt, light hop. The flavour is dry mineral malt, light metallic hop. Moderate to light bodied with lively carbonation.

Bottle. Pours clear golden with airy but stable white head. Clear aroma of hops and yeast, with notes of malt. Bitter, hoppy flavour with sweetish, malty and estery notes and some citric hints. Estery finish with notes of citrus. Not bad but rather anonymous.

Bottle, 4.7%. Grassy aroma. Clear shiny golden colour. Big stable chalk white head. The flavour is chalky, slightly watery, but refreshing and clean. Low bitterness. Too little flavour, IMO.

33cl Bottle: BBD 11/2015. Poured into a Chimay chalice in 12/2014. Should be drank on the Reeperbahn I suppose, but this bottle was brought back from Hamburg by me, for me and I had it at home. Got to admit I thought it might have a red hue to it’s colour. Golden, clear and bright, white head, thinning immediately. Grainy and semi-sweet, metallic twang also: not good, had to open a packet of crisps to help me finish the bottle.

On tap in ’Nagel’, a bierstube on the iffy side of Hamburg Main Railway station: 11th Dec 2014. Bright, clear and golden: fast fading snowy white head. Dry and refreshing, but also a little tasteless and odourless. Could have been any number of similar beers: nothing to make it stand out from the crowd. Nothing bad or annoying, just a lager/pilsner with no interesting attributes.

33cl Bottle, poured for me at the St Pauli (Reeperbahn) Christmas Market on 11th Dec 2014. Red or brown body, difficult to gauge in the dark with flashing decorations as your only light source. The head did not hang around long enough for me to discern it’s hue. The nose was weak, the beer very cold and highly carbonated, some fizzy fruitiness and a few roasted malty hints in both the aroma and taste, dry finish and a decent blend of flavours with the malt content overriding the hops all the way through the beer.

330ml bottle. Clear, pale, golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, snow-white head. Plain grainy, strawy aroma, hints of wet hay. Taste is grainy, strawy, slightly chalky; light and watery. Really naked, stripped off any serious flavour.

* Old rating, 0,33l crown-top bottle, best before 04.2010. Süßlich-limonadiger Antrunk. Den Süßstoff merkt man recht schnell, das Bier im Hintergrund nicht zu sehr. Würzig-feinherber Nachgeschmack, der von einer limonadigen Süßstoffnote überlagert wird...
