Bottle. Pours clear golden with airy but stable white head. Clear aroma of malt, with hoppy and estery notes. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with sweetish notes of cheap malt and estery overtones. Bitter, metallic and cardboardlike finish. Drinkable but definitely not the best Helles I have had.

Had this at Schmitz Katze Kreuzberg, Berlin, Germany Friday 15th November 2013 Pours mid gold, bright, clean. A sweetish lager, refreshing this does tend to go to a dry and with a slightly bitter finish. Interesting to see this in a Belgian Duvel style dumpy bottle. Enjoyed this beer. A6 A4 T6 P4 Ov13 3.3

Copper colored German lager. Not very special, just fresh and mildly sweet. Ordinary beer.

33cl bottle in Friedrichshain. Mild malty aroma with some fruity notes and hints of hops. Medium sweet with a fairly light bitterness. Fairly standard pilsner, easy to drink, but quite boring. (2013-10-11)

Bottle, danke Günther. Brown, low carbonation, offwhite low cream. Roasted aroma. Medium body, slightly flat, yet chewy mouthfeel. Roast, nut, caramel, grassy and herbal hop finish - if I had drunk it at a lower temperature it would have been flavorless. Not overly exiting.

15th Sep 2013. Dumpy 33cl bottle taken on the patio of my Ste Maxime hotel after I’d brought this over the Alps with a few other beers. Typical Pilsner look: bright, clean, clear and golden. No smell worthy of note: gets my standard 3 for a non-smelling lager/pilsner. The taste was a let down too, dry and bitter, which was fine, but the metallic feel the flavour gave off was very nasty, almost didn’t finish it. The beer was well in date and it had settled in the room fridge for two days before opening, but I wasn’t impressed.
