Nice take on this style (I was expecting another pale lager). Beautiful pour with thick airy head and nice dark amber color. Light malty aroma with slightly stronger, but mellow taste. Light lingering palate. A pleasant surprise.

Bottle: Clear, amber coloured, quickly collapsing loose off-white head, burnt malt (with a coffeish touch ) and some lost hops in the nose; mild sweetish and bitterish flavour, quite light bodied for a beer of 5.9%; slightly lingering spicy-malty finish with a low bitterness and a slightly warming alcoholic touch. Drinkable, but disappointing…

Mid amber in colour. Malty, nutty, bready aroma. Mid roasted malt flavour allied to fruits and a modicum of toffee/caramel.
