another trashy beer. Havent had much luck in the dortmunder category. Picked this up at a supermarket in Chile - amazing they bother to export such trash. I guess nobody in Germany wants it so they unload it to whoever will take it. Most Chilean beers have this far beat, though

Reddish amber colour, white head. Malty aroma, light sour, apples, caramel, quite pronounced hops. Reminds of a Speciale Belge with more hops. Malty sweet flavour, light sour touch. Quite OK.
(From 33cL bottle @ local bar, Oranienburgerstr., Berlin)

Bottle. Golden color with a small white head. Bready malty , grainy and some faint grassy hops. Bit skunky and metallic.

Had it on a few occasions because of the low alc during my business trips to Hamburg. I have no idea why people like this crap and they are proud of it here. Mix a lemonade (not well crafted as well ;D ) with a very boring and watery lager and you get the same result.

Squat little 33cl bottle pours our clear pure gold with somewhat short lived white head and it leaves a bit of spotty lacing. The aroma is on the sugar sweet malty side followed closely by an even mix of noble hops where floral, spicy and earthy hops are all noticed. The taste is a bit different where it begins with a pleasing spicy hop flavor and bitterness followed by a touch of floral hops and then a modest amount of sweet maltiness. It finishes with the addition of a minerally to metallic sensation that damping the mood of the beer a bit. It would be pretty darn solid without the odd somewhat distasteful finish.

On tap at Hamburger Stadtkrug, September 2011. Pale golden with a small white head. A rather typical Radler, sweet with notes of citrus. Thin and not my type of beverage.

Starts off as a basic boring lager, but is after all quite balanced considering the strength. The flavour of herbs adds in nicely and this one stands out a bit from the basic beers.

0.5l can. Pours a clear golden body with some small unfiltered floaters and a big bubbly almost fluffy white head. Aroma is really low. Hints of malt, chocolate-paper and some faint hops is all I can find here. Watery mouthfeeling, soft to average carbonation and quite light-bodied. Tastes mildly malty with a light and mild flowerish-bitterness. Ends medium dry with a watery aftertaste. Drinkable, but one is enough.

Bottled 330ml. -from Bier Imperium, Vienna. Dark golden coloured, small white head, sweetish fruity nose. Sweet malty, light caramel and honey with fruity notes and touch of alcohol. Short finish. Pretty average.
