Tap at Stone Bistro. Pours dark copper with a creamy off-white head. Aroma is mildly funky/carbolic - but so mild it might be wishful smelling. Med. body - creamy carb. Flavor is definitely more malty than anything else. There’s a little yeast; there’s a little barnyard. But it’s primarily bready/malty. Still it washed down the duck taco and habanero salsa something proper. 8/30/2014 at the brewpub. Not gonna change the first rating.

On tap at the brewpub. An ode to the Bruery. Pours with a long lasting, fluffy white head over a clear golden body. Great lace. Aroma is spicy and fruity with vanilla and a ton of yeast esters. Orange and banana. Taste is bitter, fruity, orange and a lot of esters throughout. Light twang to the finish. Creamy carbonation.

On tap at the brewpub. I rated this as a brown ale, because it fits better as a brown ale in my mind than a stout. Pours a really light colored brown for a stout (about 18 SRM!), with a small tan head. Aroma is oats, grainy, woodsy, earthy, brown sugar and very light roast. Taste is a typical brown ale (not stout), brown sugar, grainy, earthy, caramel, and VERY light roast. Medium to high carbonation.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours with a just barely hazed golden body with a long lasting white head. Aroma of banana, a lot of clove, vanilla, florals and tongue depressors. Taste is dried banana, vanilla, saw dust and spicy clove. Bubbly with a very dry mouthfeel for a hefe.
