23rd December 2021 found me in TAPS Brewery and Barrel Room, Tustin. A four beer flight was chosen by myself and consumed by myself too; this was one of those 4oz pours. Clear golden body, decent white head. Citrussy hop nose and taste, fairly bitter, but not over the top; nice easy drinking IPA.

4oz glass on my second flight at TAPS Brewery & Barrel Room, Tustin, California; 6th December 2021. It was sitting with some hit hitters, so it didn't really stand a chance flavour wise against strong and very hoppy IPA's. It poured a clean golden/yellow with a white topping. Subtle aroma and taste, bready malts with a slight sweetness running through the brew.

It's now 5% ABV, or it was on 6th December 2021 when I was given a free sample at the Brewery & Barrel Room (by Devon). Cloudy light yellow/white body, white crown on top. Nice US take on the classic 'Hoegaarden' style. Subtle orange peel, yeasts and spices (corriander & cloves maybe?), gentle wheat flavours too.

First beer on a flight at the Brewery and Barrel Room on 6th December 2021. Clean and clear light golden body, white head. Mild malty nose and flavour front, more grainy sweet than hop bitter. It's fine and ideal to cleanse your palate when drinking a heavy flight of more interesting beers!

Pint draft at Taps Brewery & Barrel Room in Tustin, California. The pour is a golden copper clear with a nice white head that leaves pretty lace. The aroma is bright floral, citrus, a bit of vegetal and grain malt. The taste is a nice blend of the floral citrus hops and the grain malt. Vegetal is present, though under the hops and malt. The palate is medium bodied with active carbonation and a bitter finish. This was very much an old school ipa, which worked for me.
