Half pint draft at Taps Brewery & Barrel Room in Tustin, California. The pour is a clear golden with a slight chill haze and a small foamy white head. The aroma is hay, grain and delicate spice hops. The taste is nice earth, mineral clean grain and fresh spiced noble hops. The palate is light bodied with soft natural carbonation and the mineral crisp and clean dry finish. Very nice take on the style. I also had this beer as a slow pour which was described as the gravity Czech style. This was slightly darker golden pour. Also, the aroma had floral present that extended into the taste. Otherwise the gravity version hit alot of the same notes as draft.

Got this from RaulMondesi. 12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 2/19/2019. Pours slightly hazy pale golden yellow color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big lemon, cracker, corn, white bread dough, and lightly toasted biscuit; with lighter notes of pear, red apple, herbal, wood, floral, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great complexity and balance of pils malt/grains, and light-moderate fruity yeast/earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of big lemon, cracker, corn, white bread dough, and lightly toasted biscuit; with lighter notes of pear, red apple, herbal, wood, floral, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, cracker, corn, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, pear, red apple, herbal, wood, floral, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of pils malt/grains, and light-moderate fruity yeast/earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no astringent flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Very clean on lager flavors, not overly fruity/yeasty. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and fairly sticky mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.3%. Overall this is an excellent cream ale! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of pils malt/grains, and light-moderate fruity yeast/earthy hop flavors; very smooth, refreshing, and fairly crisp/clean to drink, with the mellowly bitter/drying finish. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Awesomely clean pils malt/grain showcase; with balancing earthy hops, and restrained fruity yeast complexity. Mild residual sweetness with crisp dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and awesomely spot on style example.

Bottle [fom trade, thanks to whoever sent me this!!] shared with Caesar and Skortila. Opaque black color, decent sized brown colored head. Aroma is malts, bourbon, light molasses. Taste malts, bourbon, molasses, alcohol, some vanilla, sweetish lightly. Overall, a bit too boozy, just not that wow factor. Still a lovely beer though.
