Description
Shock Top is a traditional Belgian-Style wheat ale. It was originally created in 2006 as a seasonal brew under the name Spring Heat Spiced Wheat. After collecting gold in ’06 and bronze in ’07 in the Belgian White category at the North American Beer Awards, we decided to brew year-round and switch the name to Shock Top. We couldn’t be happier with our decision. And the best decision you can make is to try some Shock Top for yourself.

From a bottle. Light, artificial raspberry flavor. Minimally sweet. I don’t know how you would add "natural raspberry flavor" but not add actual raspberries, but it appears they have figured out a way. The flavor of natural raspberries, maybe?

Bottle: Hazy, yellow-orange with a thin, off-white head. Candy-banana...(like a chewing gum) scent. Taste is soft, overripe banana, again, pretty artificial.....wheat malt, vanilla. Weak...diluted feeling.

Bottle - Jolly rancher green apple. Clearish light gold with a decent white head. Sweet green apple candy. Not beer but not gross.

Bottle - Floral aromatics and sweet herbal notes. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Sweet generic notes, touch of pale malt. Very bland.

Foam monster. Tastes just like a pretzel. Truth in advertising. Also a truth. Ain't my cup of tea.

Can at Yolo Microbrewfest. Pours really hazy orange. Aroma seemed orange. Med body or so. Flavor is oddly spiced banana, and the banana seems overripe. Spice is mild. Maybe a pool/lake beer.

Bottle hazy dingy light tan. Faint Belgian aroma with some extract of banana and some othe spiciness. Light and I suppose palatable but not very interesting,
