Can from Beer Cartel & #ratebeersupertasters. This is a tough one. I've loved this beer on tap over the years as a big vanilla heavy, oaky almost Belgian IPA. This canned version is a shadow of that behemoth. Too timid, too subtle, too marginal. I wanted so much more from this.

Can from Dan Murphys in Melbourne. Hazy yellow with a medium white head. Aroma of mango, orange and some soap. The same in the taste. The bitterness was light. A decent one.

Seems a bit more malty than a lot of IPA's, a cracking beer.

Tap at Craft Intersect, Bangkok. Poured a hazy straw colour with a thin white head. The aroma is grainy malt, citrus fruit. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, light sweet, with a light, crisp, fresh, fruity, pineapple, sweet vanilla palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Can. Pale gold with a white head that fades from an inch to a coat in fairly short order. Vague weedy aroma with some sweet grain and lemon notes. 5+ Not quite watery. Tastes as the aroma suggests with a tad more bitterness than guessed (which suits it). Jeez I love taking dreck round to my mates [sic] place thanks to the local Coke distributor's front capturing my laid back, [?] Aussie lifestyle.

Can. 9C. Opaque brownish orange "bucket of sand" appearance with a decent white head. Tropical fruit aroma w mango, Asian pineapple, lime leaves. Nice but not as vibrant as it might be. Slightly chalky texture. Punchy fruity taste with loads of tropical fruit, some citrus and highish bitterness at the end that helps it not seem too sweet. Nearly passed on this because there's so much hazy stuff around and most of it is garbage. Glad I didn't.

From a 375ml can on 23/7/2019. Pours a hazy golden with a medium head. Has a modest dank, fruity aroma. The flavour features lots of ripe tropical fruit, with a light spicy bitterness. The texture is slick and the carbonation moderate to average. The standard Biggie left me underwhelmed but this is much, much better. Exhibits quite a bit of character and balance, and is super approachable. A little while back, I was struggling to find a good imperial NEIPA, but all of a sudden, they seem to be everywhere! Very nice indeed.
