Golden Ticket Golden Stout - 7.0 On Tap at the Boise brewery/taproom Clear deep gold color. Thin off white head. Sweet caramel and touch of coffee in the aromas. Plenty of malty sweetness and i guess “blond stout” flavors. A little roastiness I suppose.

On Tap at the Boise brewery/Taproom Foggy dull golden with a thick lasting off white head. Light pale sweet malt aromas, with some hits of the booziness, a little fruity. Huge sweet malt flavors, lots of rye whiskey bite and a lingering ABV burn. Big alcohol and big residuals play nice together. Full smooth feel.

500ml bottle from Brewers Haven. Dark brown pour, fizzy beige head, then still. Chocolate first in the aroma, followed closely with light coffee, hazelnut and maple notes. Taste comes in sweet, chocolaty and a nice hit of roasty, coffee bitterness. Maple and hazelnut blend to add a real breakfast vibe to this. Short stack of chocolate chip pancakes, hazelnuts and maple syrup accompanied by a cup of coffee.

12oz can from Boise Co-op. Clear golden with a small, frothy white head. A bit long in the tooth as it's 5 months old. Sweet, grassy aroma. Grainy, malty taste, light sweetness, dry. Not at it's prime, but held up pretty well.
