Met de (her)introductie van Goorsch Gruyt Bier willen wij weer leven blazen in het bierrijke verleden van Goor. De uiteindelijke doelstelling is weer een brouwerij in Goor te vestigen. Deze moet een toeristisch aantrekkingskracht voor Goor gaan worden.

Swing top bottle, picked up in Goor. Orange color, cloudy. Skimmed milk, butter, citrus and yeast in the aroma. Buttery milky yeasty flavor. Citrus notes, especially in the aftertaste. Low on carbon. Something must have gone wrong.

Bottle #58. Dark brown color. caramel, nutmeg and licorice in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor, caramelly. Thinnish. Slightly alcoholic. Short aftertaste. Not bad, but seems a bit amateuristic. Tasted one year later, bottle #57. Has soured considerably.

Bottle @ ZZT X shared by bierkoning. Reddish color, medium sized white to off-white head. Smell and taste malts, lightly sourish, a bit weird. Is it me? Some raisins, yeast and dark fruits. Meh, not very good imo.

Bottle shared at ZZT 10. Pours murky brown with a ring tan head. Aroma of overripe dark fruit, caramel, sweet malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle @ ZZT 10 shared by bierkoning. Brown colour with a small to medium sized off-white head. Smells raisins, sweet, brown sugar, sweet. Tastes sourish, raisins, malta, weird. Medium body, soft to medium carbo.

Bottle 330ml. w. swing top @ home.[ Trade by bierkoning ]. Clear medium to dark orange color with a small, fizzy and open, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, herbs, sugary, toffee, butter. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet with a average to long duration, toffee, herbs, old malt, bread, light woody - berry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20131208]

33cl bottle @ home [bottle thanks to Bierkoning]. Murky yellow color, off-white head instantly disappears. Smell lightly malts, herbs or spices and liquorice wood. Taste is about the same: lightly malts with very pronounced herbs or spices and some sweetness. Watery texture, low body, low carbonation.
