Can split by Alex in the beer garden at the Devonshire Arms, BOT, 17/02/23. Clear golden orange with a good sized white cap. Nose is citric sherbets, orange zest, grass, melon. Taste comprises grass, orange peel, pine nip, melon, light floral tones. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with balanced juicy come grassy hop bitterness. Okay IPA if stuck a little in 3rd gear.

12 oz can pours a clear medium redish amber. Modest fin lasting white head. Malty aroma with some notes of toasted or amber character. Hops are piney and fairly bitter. Woody and muted but full and firm. Lingering aged tanin like piney bite. Full bodied

12oz can from Grocery Outlet. Golden pour, cloudy, half finger foamy head eventually fades. Aroma is light white bread, biscuity. Taste is on the bland side, bready with the lemon an afterthought.

Can from the Moscow Co-Op. Pours a glowing golden orange color with a modest head. Aroma is mostly huckleberry along with a light grassy wheat vibe. Good huckleberry flavors, sweet and tart, doesn't give any sense of being artificial like most huckleberry flavored products. Finished clean and crisp. Refreshing, much better than expected.

Taster at brewery. Black pour with thin ring of beige head. As expected, the oatmeal is on the sweet side, both aroma and taste. A bit of a zing comes along, which wasn't expected, but it worked in the scope of things. --- Beer merged from original tick of Oatmeal Stout on 08 Oct 2018 at 06:05 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7.5. 12oz can from Homebrewstuff. Clear, medium golden, foamy white head settles out. Light hoppy aroma balances piney and citrus notes . This leads into a zesty, tangy taste that stays on the palate and leaves a lingering buzz. Unfortunately, the hops kind of spoil the palate for tasting anything else.
