pour at CdA brewfest. It's an amber ale. We all know what they taste like. No surprises here. Tassty malts, mild sweetness, light nutty falvors. Any questions?

Fest pour at CdA beer fest. Golden pour, light wispy, white head. Berries up front int he aroma, more candy than fresh. Taste follows with more sweet notes, not only from the berries but also the grain bill.

Draft at Sweet Lou's. Deep golden pour, small persistent silky head, tons of lacing. Light hoppy aroma with some cereal malt. Hops are first in the taste, sharp, biting, woody. Toasty malts present themselves towards the back and it finishes with a lingering bitterness.

12 oz from a six pack bought at the grocery store.. Aroma has notes of cinnamon and vanilla, smelling very much like horchata. Pours mostly clear golden with a one finger bone white head with good retention. Taste has a moderate herbal hop bitterness and some perceived sweetness from the vanilla. Pretty damn good.

12oz can pours out crisp golden topped with a white head. Nose is nice crisp citrus hops and some cereal malt. Taste is more of the nice citrus hops floral and a nice malt balance.

11/30/19. Cask. Pours clear brown with amber edges and a nice creamy beige head with excellent retention and sheets of lace. Aroma is nutty, caramel, toasty, vague fruity esters. Low soft carbonation, creamy mouthfeel, which I’m not big on. Good flavors and aroma though. 7/5/7/3/13 = 3.5

3/25/22. 12 oz can from the brewery. Aroma has notes of toast, nuts, dark bread, caramel. Pours brown with amber highlights and a one finger bone-white head that falls into a big-bubbly ring quickly. Taste is more bitter than sweet, surprisingly, with a great deal of herbal hop bitterness backed by a light suggestion of caramel malt. Almost black IPA-ish with its aggressive hoppiness, but with scotch ale notes rather than the usual porter or stout attributes. Interesting for sure. 7/3/7/4/16 = 3.7

On tap at Radio, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out toasted malt and dry cocoa powder. Flavour is robust, with medium roasted malt, and dry earthy cocoa. Robust and earthy. Nice stuff.

On tap at Radio, pours a hazy copper golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops, with some herbal notes, and crisp biscuity malt. Bitter, herbal and piney finish. A little too herbal.

On tap at Radio, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out earthy notes and medium roast. Flavour is full of sludgy, earthy roast, a touch of coffee, and a hint of dark fruits. A bit sludgy and lacking clarity, but it's competently brewed.

On tap at Radio, pours black with a small white head. Aroma brings out earthy coffee and a touch of roast. Flavour is robust, with a nice earthy coffee character atop a dry toasted malt base. Decently brewed, showcases the coffee well.
