Description
Sig Brewing Company is a small family-owned brewpub located in Tacoma’s Historic Brewing District. Our goal was to differentiate ourselves in as many ways as possible including our beers, food, and taproom. We were fortunate enough to hire a talented head brewer in Jeff Stokes and opened our doors in the spring of 2020. We love craft beer and are very proud to be a part of its local community.

Draft pour at Sig, Tacoma. Somewhat dense, juicy golden appearance. Patchy head. Very layered hop profile, which doesn't surprise me in the least. Floral and tropical juicy content. Slick flavor, surprisingly juicy and drinkable for it's strength. Has a sweet side. Also, not too surprised. Lingering floral and tropical notes. Very unique try, but one I would recommend to anyone just to say they've tried it.

Draft pour at Sig, Tacoma. Bright and clean golden appearance. Thin patchy head. Really solid IPA.here, with lots of bright bitter orange like hops, resinous throughout. Bitter, but not to an extreme point. Has a bite, bold and bitter. Off balanced towards the hops, but when the bill is this good, it gets a pass. Really good brew here. Standout in their impressive lineup.

Draft pour at Sig, Tacoma. Clean and clear golden appearance, moderate foam ring head. Classic piney and grassy hop nose. Lots of hop presence here. Oily hop content, bold and bitter grassy hops with a moderate orange peel. Big bite on the palate. Aggressive IPA which I always love. Perfect for when you are in the mood for imperial, but what to keep it below the line. Drinks heavier than it suggests. Solid IPA.

Draft pour at Sig, Tacoma. Pale, clean golden appearance, very thin and fading head. I always enjoy this style enough. I'm just unsure if it has the capability of really blowing me away with overall quality. Light and easy drinking, but flavorful. Corn-ish nose woth some straw grains. Crisp constant. Cool, semi watery finish. Solid mixup addition to a taplist when styles start becoming redundant.

Draft pour enjoyed at Sig, Tacoma. Shadow filled darker orange pour, loose foam. Head. Big and bright red cherry nose with a sign of funk. Cherries are very much up front, and make up a very nice headlining flavor. Dry finish. Cherries are very juicy before transitioning to a dry, funk forward finish. Really unique and fun saison here. Love this. I already knew I didn't hate cherries. That is why I order a beer like this.

On tap at Pine Box, pours a clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma is dank and piney, with plenty of piney hops, grapefruit zest, some dankness, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is bright, with big piney hops, some grapefruit zest, and just enough, lightly sweet biscuity malt. Expertly balanced, with a great piney hop expression. Excellent.

Can from Tavour. Pours dirty hazy gold with a large white head. Very large. The aroma is extremely complex. Citrus can be parsed. Med plus body. Flavor is somewhat dankish citrus/earth/lychee. Juicy but not really sweet. Bitter and bitter and bitter. Zest notes appear to this quaff and that quaff. This must have been an expensive brew. Think it was worth it.

On tap at Chuck's Greenwood, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma smells like a pralines n cream ice cream, with lots of sugars, hazelnuts and vanilla. Flavour is moderately-to-heavy sweet, with pralines and vanilla - can't say I really get hazelnut. Quite sweet and dessert-like without any real body. It's alright.
