Was worried about a pedio infection on this one but maybe it was just in my head. The spirit barrel notes on here are definitely unique, especially on a witbier. it's thick. And hints of orange fun.

Bottle from Tavour: pours copper with small head. Aroma is fruited cooked down, orange cake, booze, cognac, yeast. This beer reminds me of early craft experimental beers that were big and different. We said they were good because they were big and complex, but ultimately they tasted just OK.

16oz can pours out amber color topped with a sand head. Nose is nice pine citrus leaf hops and some bread malts. Taste is more of the nice nice hop combo and well balanced malts.

16 oz. Doesn't really fit the category of Pale Lager - Strong, but it wouldn't fit in Belgian Dubbel either since it's a lager, even though it's closer to that in profile. It tastes more like a doppelbock than anything. Not sure where it belongs. Aroma has notes of apple-ish fruity esters, hints of toffee and bread. Pours hazy amber with a one finger beige head that falls into a ring fairly quick. Taste is sweet with a moderately bitter hoppy edge.

16 oz can, 7/21/21. Canning date 4/5/21, Experimental Lab Release, hops: Citra & Simcoe. Fully hazed pale yellow with a nice white head. Juicy, orange and tangerine, some mango. Plenty of malty sweetness too, with biscuit and bread notes. Leans sweet, slightly sticky. Not great, but not bad.
