Bottle pours out copper golden topped with a tan head. Nose is nice caramel toffee malts some light citrus pine hops. Taste is more of the nice sweet caramel toasted malts and a balanced hop combo.

Keg at the brewery - Jackson. Pours clear, deep brown with a small, foamy khaki head. Medium sweet flavour with vague roast, suggestions of toasted coconut and oily vanilla, a hint of cocoa. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with a little earth, sweet chocolate, raisins. Basic but alright.

Keg at StillWest - Jackson. Pours clear deep reddish-brown with a slight, foamy off-white head. Light to medium sweet flavour with rounded malty character, a little dried semi-dark fruit, toasted toffee, a few leaves. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Rich and malty finish. Tasty overall, but basic.

Keg at StillWest - Jackson. Pours crystal clear yellow with a creamy, white head. Moderately sweet with nice pale biscuits, lemony hops, a little pithy grapefruit, soft rindy bitterness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Clean and citrusy finish.
